Meeting the sexy and mysterious Lord Ios at a masquerade ball in Dublin, leads to the opening of a door to another world. Selene soon finds herself at the heart of an ancient prophecy, and hunted by one of the most lethal demon goddesses of all time, Lilith.

Ios disappears back in time, seeking both the prophecy, and the ancient witch whom he hopes can help them. Selene tries to move forward in her own life, not knowing when Ios might return, not sure if she loves him, nor if Lilith will attempt to harm her to fulfil the prophecy.

A story that entwines time travel, angels and demons, mythical Greek history, mixes the multiversal trine of creation stories into our current time. Emotional, some humour, depth of relationships, and challenges the concepts of good and evil.

REVELATION is the first book in the Eternal Series, a steamy paranormal romance and contemporary fantasy series featuring sexy and powerful demons, strong witches, and newly born eternals. If you are drawn to forbidden romance, dark magic, strong characters and a good story, you will love this.
Ritual and Pyre follow Ios and Selene in the series.

REVIEW FROM THE ONLINEBOOKCLUB.ORG 4*. Post by JonesLeeh » 25 Oct 2021
[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of “Revelation” by Lena Kelly.]

4 of 4 stars
Selene departs from Canada to study in the United Kingdom. She goes about with her daily duties until one time when she traverses Dublin, Ireland. There, she encounters Anna Jane, who then invites her to a masquerade ball. Selene faces an unusual world— one with vampires, demons, lamiae, and others.

Selene then comes across a handsome, powerful demon, Lord Ios, who takes an interest in her. Ios knows Selene is not entirely human, and her special kind is prone to be hunted by the most ferocious creatures. Not long, Lilith, one cruel demon, begins to pursue her. Ios has to protect Selene by all means. In the venture, Ios and Selene are drawn to each other. However, demons do not possess love and attachment feelings like humans. How will things progress?

I loved how easy the dialogues were to follow. They’re well-phrased, and a reader can easily identify the mood of the character. Also, I liked how the author showcases diversity in the story. Selene was originally from Greece before relocating to Canada and finally the United Kingdom for studies.

I chuckled at how Lena Kelly brings out the Irish accent different from the English intonation. When some Irish characters conversed, I could play the twang in my head. I enjoyed how the conclusion of the book calls for a hunt into its sequel. I desperately want to find out what happened next.

However, I did not admire some of Selene’s reckless behaviors. She trusted people too much. For example, she ends up with a guy in Dublin and sleeps over at his mum’s place. Though she knew less about Anna Jane, Selene trusted her to the extent of following her to a masquerade ball. In there, she was approached by a vampire who may have proved sinister had the Lord of Misrule not shown up on time.

The kindle format had some mild spacing issues occasionally. Other than that, I only detected a few grammatical errors and typos. Therefore, the book appears to be professionally edited. Lena has composed a spellbinding story that lovers of the underworld will relish. The book deserves nothing less than four out of four stars. The intense suspense in the story had me glued to the pages wanting to discover what would happen to Selene with her naivety. Do you want to be transported to a world where humans coexist with demons, witches, vampires, immortals, lamiae, among others? If so, I recommend you Revelation by Lena Kelly. *
